Situated within the 500 hectare “Ilanga nature and game reserve” with over 100 different species of indigenous bush and breeding herds of non-aggressive game. There are on-site hiking and mountain biking trails, tennis courts and swimming pools as well as a number of water activities including fishing, rowing and boating on the resort’s private dam.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

The Kruger National Park’s Phabeni Gate is just 15 minutes drive away and the Elephant Sanctuary is the hotel’s neighbour. For the adventure enthusiast, there is quad biking, geckoing, zip lining, river rafting, abseiling and hot air ballooning close by.

Other activities include night safaris, paint ball, archery, clay pigeon shooting and trout fishing. The Shangaan Cultural Village is just a short drive away.

GOLF
Guests can enjoy a round of golf at any of the 5 golf courses in the vicinity of the hotel. There are two courses in the Hazyview area - one being the Sabie River Sun golf course and the other the Kruger Park Lodge. The 18 hole championship Sabie River golf course is situated alongside Nelspruit and White River.

 

The Kruger Park Lodge golf course is a 9 golf course with exquisite views across Hazyview and through the valley towards Sabi. Other nearby courses include the 18 hole White River Golf Estate and the 9 hole Skukuza Golf Course in the Kruger Park.
